It has been about a month since I last wrote you and as a business we seem to be settling into a new normal with new and different ways of doing things.

The security industry has been deemed an essential business by the state government. Please know that to us, each and every one of you are essential. Because quite frankly, without your support, we wouldn’t have a business. Thank you very much for the support you have shown us in the past and particularly now.

Though business has slowed quite a bit, being an essential service business has left us extremely grateful because we know that many businesses have had to shut down completely. Many of those business are our customers and if there is anything we may be able to do to help, please reach out to us.

We are all experiencing the same pandemic but we are all experiencing it differently. In some families all wage earners have been left unemployed because the companies they work for are shut down. Others smoothly transitioned to working from home with no financial hiccup. Some people don’t know anybody who has the virus while some families have lost loved ones to the coronavirus and had to attend the funeral via face time.

During this challenging time we are supporting our local food bank, helping feed  medical personnel and support staff on duty at the hospital, and supporting local businesses whenever possible. Please know that we remain available to service and maintain your security system. For many people and businesses, it is more important now than ever to have a fully functioning fire alarm, burglar alarm, surveillance and access control system. If you need service, we are ready and able to do what is necessary.

Your safety, and the safety of our staff, is paramount at this time. Only if you are comfortable will we enter your home or business and maintain a proper social distancing protocol at all times. To ensure safety for all of us, these are the steps we will take when arriving –

  • We will sanitize our hands and put on a mask.
  • We will ring the bell or knock and step back at least six feet from the door.
  • We will thoroughly clean our work area and dispose of garbage.
  • We also take our temperature regularly as a way of checking health.

We ask that if you or anyone in your home or business doesn’t feel well or is sick, please let us know and we will reschedule the appointment.

Be aware that many issues can be solved without us leaving the office. Remote access technology makes it possible to resolve many surveillance system, access control, and alarm system issues by logging on. We have always prided ourselves about being able to “walk” people through solving problems either via phone call, Face Time, or Google Duo. We can also deliver or ship you parts if needed.
