Dear Valued Clients,

As you are well aware, for most of us, the current environment is unique. Since 1992, we have been providing security services to homes and businesses throughout New Jersey. During that time, we have gone through the dot-com bubble and bust, 9/11, the real estate market bubble and bust, Hurricane Sandy, and other events that have changed the way we do business. One constant during all those years is that we have continued to provide service to our customers. We take that commitment very seriously.

In all those years, we have not experienced an impact as severe as the one we are facing from the coronavirus, both to health and to the economy. We firmly believe in the severity of this epidemic and are making every effort to adjust our operations for a potentially extended period of time. Of paramount concern is the health and safety of our team, customers, and vendors. Therefore, in an effort to uphold the social distancing guidelines recommended by our government, we are making the following changes effective today, March 19th, 2020.

  • No new installations or additions to systems in occupied space will be started.
  • Residential work will be limited to alarm system service only – i.e. keypad or panel not responding, low batteries, smoke detector false alarms, and similar.
  • Commercial service calls will continue with priority given to fire alarm and access control systems. Commercial installations that are in progress will continue.
  • Emergency service calls will continue.

These changes will remain in effect until such a time when social distancing is no longer required to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Our office remains open from 8am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The monitoring of your alarm systems is not, and will not be, impacted or interrupted in any way We are in communication with our monitoring station on a daily basis, and their continuity planning will enable them to ensure your system is monitored 24/7, as always.

Many service issues, especially those regarding surveillance systems, can be fixed remotely. Someone is available 24 hours a day for emergency service. Just call the office number at 908-722-2880 and follow the prompts. We are also available to talk you through trouble shooting via telephone & video chat.

If you have any questions or concerns in regards to the above, please call us.

Stay safe,

Patrick and the Perfect Connections Team
